Greaves E5+ Engine
The valve cover (also known as the rocker cover) is the sealed cover bolted to the top of the engine. On the Greaves E5+ twin-cylinder diesel engine, fitted to the Ligier JS50 and Ligier Myli, its primary function is to seal the cylinder head and prevent engine oil, which is pumped under pressure to lubricate the camshaft, rocker arms, and valve stems, from leaking outside the engine.
