The coolant temperature sensor (also known as the water temperature sensor) is the electronic eye of your dashboard. Mounted directly on the cylinder head or on the thermostat housing of the Greaves E5+ twin-cylinder diesel engine, fitted to certain versions of the Ligier JS50 (Phase 5) and Ligier Myli, this sensor continuously measures the temperature of the coolant circulating around the cylinders and cylinder head.
