The engine oil hose (depending on its location: upper engine oil supply, connection to an oil cooler, or pressure return line) is a component exposed to extreme operating conditions. On the Greaves E5+ twin-cylinder diesel engine fitted to Ligier JS50 and Myli models, the oil does not simply remain static: it is driven by the pump at a pressure that can exceed 3 to 4 bar when the engine is hot.
