The oil separator hose (or breather hose) connects the valve cover to the oil separator, or the oil separator to the air intake manifold. On the Greaves E5+ twin-cylinder diesel engine fitted to specific versions of the Ligier JS50 and Myli, this hose is the mandatory path for evacuating excess air pressure and oily gases generated inside the engine crankcase.
